Hello, Max, good to be back...First of all, our top priority: please be aware that today is Veterans Day, so be sure to shake the hand of one who has or is still serving.
And now for my usual drivel...
Just thought I'd drop in for a quick post of another ultra cool thing: a slideshow excerpt from my new book Magpie & Dilly. As you can see, I've been messing around with Photoshop CS5 again and this is what I've come up with. The slideshow itself is, of course, from Picasa.com, a wonderful place to keep your photos stored online.
As you can see, the slideshow images are rather smallish for eyes other than those of say...a hawk. So, first, make it full screen by simply clicking on it. Then, since a fair amount of reading is due every slide, by all means, hit the pause button for each, and then read at your leisure before moving on. It's only four short pages that I hope you'll find intriguing enough to immediately leap back here and hit one of these fine links to buy the book:
One last thing: In a nutshell, the context of this excerpt is as follows: the antagonist in Magpie & Dilly is a Witch named Katrina Katflem. This excerpt is a flashback to her past.
Enjoy!

As usual, feel free to leave a comment, good or bad. And, at the very least, please tell your friends about Magpie & Dilly. (Conveniently, Twitter and Facebook buttons are right over there to your right.)
